Terms of service
Terms for using Updog
Last updated September 22, 2026
These Terms govern access to Updog, including Updog web, assistant, MCP, and integration features. By using Updog, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, when applicable, the organization you represent.
Using Updog
You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, and use Updog only for lawful business purposes. You are responsible for the data you enter, import, connect, or ask Updog to process.
Subscriptions and Pro features
Some features require a paid Updog Pro subscription or a billing-exempt account. Fees, taxes, billing periods, cancellations, and renewals are handled through the billing flow shown at purchase or in account settings. Unless stated otherwise, fees are nonrefundable except where required by law.
Customer data
You retain rights to the contacts, notes, activity records, and other business data you put into Updog. You grant Updog permission to host, process, transmit, and display that data as needed to provide the service, support integrations, protect the platform, and comply with these Terms.
Integrations and AI assistants
If you connect third-party services or AI assistants, you authorize Updog to exchange information with those services as needed for the connection. Third-party services are governed by their own terms. You are responsible for confirming assistant-proposed writes before they are saved in Updog.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use Updog to violate laws, regulations, privacy rights, or platform rules.
- Attempt to access another user's data without authorization.
- Interfere with, reverse engineer, overload, or bypass Updog security controls.
- Upload malicious code or use Updog to send abusive, deceptive, or unlawful content.
- Use Updog in a way that creates regulated obligations we have not expressly agreed to in writing.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Updog reliable, but the service may be unavailable, delayed, or changed from time to time. We may add, modify, or remove features, including beta features and integrations.
Disclaimers
Updog is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. Updog does not provide legal, financial, compliance, underwriting, or lending advice. You are responsible for professional judgment, borrower communications, and compliance obligations in your business.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Updog will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, goodwill, or data. Updog's aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to amounts paid to Updog for the service during the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using Updog at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for Updog or others, fail to pay required fees, or if required by law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Updog changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
